More about me

I taught in a public school for 32 years.  I taught the elementary grades.  I taught 1st grade for 16 years and remedial reading and math for 10 years.  Also taught 2nd, 5th and 3rd grades, all in all 32 years. 

I taught in Levelland for 29 of those years.  I now live in Lubbock.  Levelland is a small town of about 10,000, west of Lubbock.

I was born in Houston and raised in Houston and Dallas.  I went to Texas Tech (in Lubbock-go red raiders) and that is why I ended up in Lubbock.

Activities

I love to travel and have been on several cruises. I really liked all of the ships, but my favorite right now is Princess. I used to love to play golf, but haven't played for several years.

I like Janet Evonivich, she is funny and a fast read. Have a lot of authors that I enjoy and read many different types of books. I read Culture Warrior by Bill OReilly but haven't read his latest book yet.
