More about me

About me......I'm 52 years old, quite petite, love dogs and other animals (but mostly love dogs).  I have a 4 month old Golden retriever named Lily Rose.  I work in a dry cleaners and have worked there for most of my adult life....pay's not great, but it's a job!  My favorite authors are Anne Rice, Neil Gaiman, and JRR Tolkien.  I love the music to the Broadway play of Les Miserables.  I'm certainly not the most interesting person on the planet and it takes a while for me to get to know people (kind of shy, I guess).  I'm hoping to make friends on this website, if I can ever get used to visiting a website like this!

Favorite Places

I remember as I child, every year we would go to Quonsit Point, RI for summer vacation. My father had been in the navy and he was stationed there for a while and he and my mother made friends with the people up there, so we would go to visit them every summer. My younger sister and I would spend the entire day down at the shore and watch planes take off and land at the naval place there. I don't know what it's like NOW, but I have always had fond thoughts and memories of Quonsit Point.

Favorite Animals

My golden retriever Lily is my favorite animal, only she doesn't count because she is my "child". I like animals as a whole, I suppose. There are a few that I'm not too crazy about--monkeys I am afraid of for some unknown reason. My favorite animals are dogs--always were and always will be. They give so much love and all they ask in return is to be fed and groomed, they don't care what you look like or what your personality is. They just love.
