Places I've been

Not sure why I've listed Highland as my hometown, other than the fact that much of my adult years were spent there; I grew up in Walled Lake, MI. I think Michigan is a great state, if the weather was less dramatic; and I really miss the beautiful fall days and all the water. I moved to Colorado Springs for a few years, but currently live in Seattle, WA. I took a terrific cruise to Alaska a few years ago and would do it again in a heartbeat. I've passed through 2/3 of all the mainland states at some point, but I have a lot more to say about the places I would like to visit.

Activities

I play on the computer first thing in the morning, last thing at night and a bunch in the middle. I love to read most anything but particularly enjoy mysterys, history, biographies and great sci-fi or fantasy. (Yay "Lord of the Rings") I love going to movies but you have to drag me kicking and screaming to the tear-jerkers. They may be great movies, but I don't want to watch them on purpose. Give me a hilarious comedy, a murder mystery, or some high-quality sci-fi or action flicks. I also enjoy driving about the beautiful countryside and finding niffty little restaurants. I'm not big into sports in general, particularly not on TV, but I do enjoy attending live games; however, I'm always ready to watch the Red Wings, even on TV.

Leukemia Foundation, Humane Society, PETA - They make me nervous but I have strong feelings about any animal abuse.

Blues, Alternative (Green Day), Rock, a smidgeon of Country, etc.

Favorite TV Shows

Project Runway, Top Chef, CSI Las Vegas, Dead Like Me, and I miss Buffy the Vampire Slayer and the Angel series.

Lord of the Rings, Blade Runner, The Fifth Element, Harold and Maude, Three Days of the Condor, Hunt for Red October, and many more.
