Hi, My name is Karen...I l was born and raised in Michigan.  I have two grown son's and two granddaughters.  My passion is to be outdoors, walking, hiking, biking and learning to be more Like Jesus Christ.    Drinking coffee on a Friday night,  watching and listening to the sounds around me. 

I have lived in Chula Vista, Vallejo and Idaho Falls.  Went to a Missions trip in Mexico where our church help to help build an upper floor to an already exciting church, I still get tired thinking of that time in my life, but what a blessing, even if we did not speak the same language, we spoke the same language thru Jesus christ.

Traveled across Michigan 5 times , by bicycle,  up the coast of Michigan once and once across the New Hampshire White Mountains down to the ocean.  Just hiked and camped the Sawtooth Mountains in Idaho with my son and friends. Looking forward to going to Az in Jan of 2009.

I am  Native American, Mohawk from the Bay of Quinte, Canada.  My Name given to me by the Clan Mothers is "Kawennano:ron"  means  a precious thing/or word and sew ragalia for our local naming services and other festivals. 

also play Native Flute and the silver flute, but right now perfer the native flute as this sound sings to my spirit and seems to heal and quiet what is going on around me and in me.  The part of nature that my soul is tied to is the mountains and waters.  Everyone has a song in their spirit.

Born again Christian, saved by the Grace of God. Goal is become more Christ like daily, my walk should reflect Christ as my Saviour.  He reached down and saved me and now directs my path.  Looking back at where I was and where I am going, gives me a hope and a peace that passes all understanding.  I have a  hope and that hope is Jesus Christ.

I live in Taylor, MI. and Work at the University of Michigan Medical Center Emergency Medicine consult/referral service.

Activities

Hiking;, Biking; Walking;Kayaking. Started a biking club at my previous Chruch. Served there in the Music progarm and with mentoring New Believers. Sewing, reading, quilting, beading. Watching the Detroit Tiger.. Spending time with my grandaughters, Son's and friends. I play Native American Flute, relaxing just to sit and play

I guess Odie right now, a Jack Russell ....my son's dog, he thinks I am his bestest friend. But I love the Doberman breed and of course the Moles that I have aloud to live in my backyard.!
