Hi, I'm 50+ years old, and live in northeastern Texas. I am having some struggles with this "aging thing", but I take comfort in that I have a whole Boomer generation to keep me company!

Just found "Eons" today, and am very happy I have. It was just what the doctor ordered. I've just started creating my spot here, uploading photos, and all that good stuff.  Hope to add much more as time allows.

Very much looking forward to meeting you all, and seeing what you're doing at this time in your lives. I took a very early retirement in 2003, and am now considering doing some part-time work from my home.

I'm an amateur photographer and love it, I maintain and create websites (www.scubagrl.net), love scuba diving and snorkeling, reading, singing, dancing, traveling, meeting new people.

Classical, Irish/Celtic, 60s oldies, various New Age music. Anymore, though, I mostly enjoy the "Sounds of Silence" (not Simon & Garfunkel!). My quiet time help me maintain a better atmosphere to relax, think, and concentrate.

The Lord of the Rings by J.R.R. Tolkien, Live Ship, Farseer & Tawny Man Trilogies by Robin Hobb, Coming Home by Rosamond Pilcher, almost everything by Maeve Binchy, and Colleen McCullough. Also, All Creatures Great and Small series by James Herriot.

Favorite People

My Mom, Dad, husband and two stepdaughters. I'm pretty sick of most of Hollywood, so no celebs on my list any more, with only a few exceptions.

Favorite Places

Texas Hill Country, Mustang Island, Florida Keys, England, New England, Maui, California (but only for visits; wouldn't want to live there; "been there, done that"). ...and pretty much any tropical island where we can go scuba diving.

Favorite Animals

ALL cats, most dogs, cockatiels. I enjoy wild animals as well, but just not as pets! ;-D
