More about me

I am a mother of two boys. One is out of the house, the second almost ready to leave. I am also a fashiion designer and work for one of the major NY design houses.  I lost my husband about five years ago and am just getting out of the mourning process that everyone told me would only take a little while to get over.  I have not dated since he passed away and don't know if I ever will.  Somehow the whole dating scene has changed according to my girlfriends, so right now I am playing it one day at a time.

 I enjoy music, dancing, sewing and memoriabilia.  Maybe I live in the past, but that's what I know about, the future is a mystery to all of us.  So, I am just looking for a comfort zone and a place where I can make friends.  I heard about eons from a friend and finally took the plunge and have joined.

I have a good sense of humor, make a good friend, and listen more than talk.  So, it's nice to meet you all and hope that this is the beginning of a beginning.
