just finished writing RoadSigns April 2007, Shifting Gears Between Two Worlds, a spiritual journaling. Mother of 36 yr old identical twins, girls, retired, writer, blogger, hobby musician.

About the book I wrote in 2006 Road Signs, Shifting Gears Between Two Worlds and various related topics

My main career was mother. Women know we are not generally respected for our role as a parent. We know how tough it is to raise kids though, and so society needs to respect the mostly single parent society we are becoming. Their father left this world when the kids were 11. He left us some money to get a house. I did odd jobs throughout life. I did some singing in resthomes. I tried different things, even wore a twinkie suit and handed out free twinkies for one day, due to the shoulder straps were too heavy or I would have loved this for a career. Also I shined shoes with some outfit. Times were not good. I learned to stretch a buck so far and I'm so tight, I squeak when I walk. Clowning is my specialty when I'm not being serious. I am a celibate mystic, contemplative. I travel out of body. I won't be here on this Earth very much longer as I'm heading home. I love people, doesn't matter who it is, there is something to love in all. When I say I won't be here much longer, what I really mean is that time seems to be speeding up, especially when you're having fun, the years go by so fast. I like to tell folks live each day as if it were your first and last day, so you won't miss any of the show! Smell the flowers, kiss an old coot, forgive your enemies, it messes with their head! love....is all you need.

 I feel one with everybody, well, most everybody, have met a few strangers but mostly I meet friends and I'm satisfied what's on my plate in this world or the next.
