I was born in Newfoundland, Canada but consider Chicago my hometown because I lived there most of my life. I lived in Florida for awhile but moved to Virginia to be with my youngest son who is in the navy, but plan to move back to Florida sometime in the future. I love moving around meeting new people and seeing new places. Here's to travel, travel, travel. Hey my son joined the Navy but I also getting to see the world.

Hi, I'm what I think of as a typical 58 year young baby boomer.  I tried the retired stay at home grand-ma who helps by taking care of my grand-daugther (whom I love dearly) but give me a break there are tons of things I want to do and staying at home is not one of them.  I recently went back to work and am enjoying the getting back into things.  We recently moved to be with my son, who is in the navy, and I love the fact that I can travel around and see different parts of our country.  Right now we are in Virginia and it's the 400 year celebration of our country and so there are alot of things to see.  This is a very historic area.  So I love to travel and meet people.
