More about me

I thought it would be a lot of fun to see what other "boomers" are doing with their lives.  It's been fun just reading some entries.  I've been married to my husband for over 35 years and we have two girls.  They both live in Indianapolis, so we decided to move here from Northwest Indiana.  It is so different here, we love it!  I've been a Librarian for over 20 years and to me it not going to work it has been fun.  Since moving to Hamilton County (which was named by Forbes.com as the best place in the nation to raise a family) I have enjoyed semi-retirement.  We are 30 minutes from Indianapolis, and there is just so much to do and see!  It's been like a vacation, I hope no one pinches me and I wake up.  It's been fun these last three years.  My husband actually told me, I'm starting to relax a little.  You know, Type-A personality.

Activities

I love to read and play computer games. Mostly majong or puzzle games like jewelquest. My husband and I love our new home and doing our own landscaping and flower gardening.

Favorite Music

Naturally, all the oldies. Since moving to Central Indiana, they love their country and western music. Can't get too excited about that. They do have summer symphonies, which are wonderful.

Favorite TV Shows

All the crime shows, like Law and Order, the Closer, NCIS, Criminal Minds, CSI: New York, Numbers, Ghost Whisperer. I guess, I'm just a whodunnit.

Favorite Movies

Love all the Indiana Jones adventure movies, Saving Private Ryan, Enemy at the Gate and recently 10, 000 BC.

Favorite Books

Any Jayne Ann Krentz, Catherine Coulter's FBI series with Savich and Sherlock. Jeffrey Deaver's Lincoln Rhyme.
