About MeHello! Please remember I live in England and all my blog entries deal with the early days in Northumberland! So do me a favour if you read my blog let me know if any of them made you smile or even laugh a little bit!
lets see now! I love Bhangra music, I am a member of the BBTC. I am Interested in all the arts! I have been in Theatre and Film entertainment most of my life, I live on the South Coast in West Sussex.... I have all my own teeth and hair and all my bits work, apart from that I am 6'2" with a bit of a tum! but I have lost 12 kilos!! WOW (The last 'bit part' I had was a knight in armour! and they could not get me into the tin suit, so they got me to strip and lay on a table and shoved a big roll of industial Cling Film under me and wrapped it round my tummy to the command 'SUCK IN!!'...and sure enough I got into the Armour!!! God the indignity of it!!!) I am still getting the odd part in what ever is going 'Streets and Walkers' as it's called! or I am 'resting' and I still get invited to do a few talks to groups or clubs etc as long as they are broad minded.
Stay well!
David..................
http://www.flickr.com/photos/rustythespian (if you want to see my photos)InterestsAreas of Expertise Theatre and CinemaBackground I have lived in Newcastle, Tynemouth, Whitley Bay, London, Bognor Regis, Padstow and a few other places. Most of my working life has been spent as an actor/manager, I now spend quite a bit of my time giving talks about my younger days in theatre and cinema to groups of people as long as they are broad minded,so many stories are a bit near the mark and if they get toned down the humour gets lost! and the early days were the most hysterically funny! (See my blog.........did it not even make you smile?)Books Thomas Harris, John Betjemen, J B Priestley Gerald Kersh and who enjoyed 'A Round-Heeled Woman' by Jane Juska??????? Have you ever read 'The Two Pound Tram' (William Newton)? Wonderful!!Dislikes Hobbies Making things from wood, collectables. History, I must have a Magpie mentality! I just love finding things. http://www.flickr.com/photos/rustythespianInterested in Contacting People with a sense of humour! who are kind, warm, and gentle hearted I love to chat to people given half the chance! Oh! and I love good Belly Dancers!! type it into YOUTUBE!!! MagicLikes Sailing, Good theatre, entrancing people, and warm hearts!Music Bhangra, Country, Opera, Ballet, Eddi Reader, Traditional Jazz (I was at the last recording session of Billie Holiday in London such a sad and heartbreaking night, most of us there had a cry).Sports Many years ago............smileTravel Most places other than Japan and IndiaTV and Films Old English black and white, loved the two Tony Hancock films I had small bits in both of them. Flitting from side to side on the ferries? Are you kidding me? That sounds like the perfect day!
I ate my weight in clotted cream and scones in Dartmouth and looked the wrong (the American) way when crossing that very street. I was running fast so the car missed me! LOL!
