Antiquing(mostly just to look these days), reading, working in my yard, crossword puzzles, decorating, floral arrangements, going to the coast, visiting with my family, visiting with my friends, listening to music, trying very hard to simplify my life[so far I'm losing the battle ;-)] and many others.

Favorite Music
1950's, 60's, 70's, 80's and easy listening. Some Christian music, very eclectic actually. Luv James Taylor, Kenny Chesney, Tony Bennett, Neil Diamond, Sandy Patti, Babra Streisand, Carly Simon, Willie Nelson, Peter Cetera, Cher, and on and on.
Favorite TV Shows
House, Grey's Anatomy, PBS Channel - in particular Bill Moyers Journal and any travel or animal shows, evening news with Charlie Gibson and then local news. I don't watch a lot of TV anymore. To cut back on expenses, I cancelled my Dish. When I had it I enjoyed HGTV, Hallmark Channel, things like that.
Favorite Movies
Jumping Jack Flash, newer Little Women, pretty much anything with Sandra Bullock, Lethal Weapon, Star Wars, Harry Potter, the old Star Trek, Somethings Gotta Give, Sarah Plain and Tall Series, Fried Green Tomatoes, O, Brother, Where Art Thou?, The Mirrow Has Two Faces, Cast Away, The Money Pit, Best Friends, Steel Magnolia's, Chevy Chase Wally World, and on and on. Also most Disney, most all animated childrens, Chevy Chase in The Christmas Lights(?), the three Santa Clauses', Home Alone. Maybe this gives you an idea of what I like.
Favorite Books
The Bible, The Proud Breed, some Feng Shui books, How to Simplify, and right now, The Limits of Power by Andrew J. Bacevich. A bookcase full of almost everything from Alastair McLean(his old ones), to self-help, Chicken Soup for the Soul and on and on . . . . .
Favorite Quotes
Isaiah 40:31, But they that wait upon the Lord shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings as eagles; they shall run, and not be weary; and they shall walk, and not faint. Another is "We must always have old memories and young hopes."
Favorite Places
The National Parks across the country, Yosemite, Grand Tetons, and The Sequoia's(only 45 minutes from my home to the entrance to the park), the East coast, the West coast, Pismo Beach and Santa Maria, CA. Have enjoyed traveling by car through many of the West, Midwest and Southern states. Each has its own beauty.
Favorite Animals
Cats and dogs. Don't have an animal at the moment. Maybe when I can no longer travel.
