Favorite travel destination is Tahiti, Moorea, etc. Have also been to Russia, Finland, Sweden (IceBar is fun in Stockholm), Norway, Estonia, Germany, Holland, France, Belgium, Switzerland, England, Mexico, Canada, Bahamas, etc. Love, love, love to travel.

Been a widow for 2 years, married for 20 years prior.  Two wonderful sons: one a Professor at a local college, the other lives in Minneapolis and is affiliated w/a Fortune 500 co.  Three precious grandchildren.  Core group of 6 close friends.....lots of acquaintances.  Easy going, love to entertain around my pool or the fireplace - depends on seasons.  Kirby, yellow lab, is my special pal.

Activities

Love to travel - believe that's been mentioned. Belong to book club, play mah jongg, gardening, enjoy my pool - sunning & some swimming, bicycling, walking. Spend lots of time w/family, too. And LOVE to go to concerts, theatre. Volunteer at the Avera Heart Hospital. Chairwoman of the 2010 "Go Red for Women" Luncheon fundraiser for the American Heart Assoc.

Favorite Charities

American Heart Association since my husband passed away from heart disease. Breast Cancer because a close friend is battling that right now.

Favorite Music

Eclectic . . . . anything but jazz - just don't appreciate scat. Here's a few favorites: Il Divo, George Strait, Michael Bubble, Bob Seger, Andrea Bochelli, Rod Stewart, David Gray, Norah Jones, Willie Nelson, gosh and alot more.

Favorite TV Shows

OK . . . .admit it . . . . I watch the "Housewives of" shows. Favorite is "New Jersey". Watch more Netflix movies than anything. Must watch the morning news w/coffee and my newspaper.....in bed.

Wow - lots. Enjoy all the old classics and have many. See the new movies but not enough to buy the DVD.
