I'm the author of a new book about what happens to memory and attention in middle age. It's called CARVED IN SAND: When Attention Fails and Memory Fades In Midlife. HarperCollins published it in April; it has been on the New York Times Best Sellers list, and was (for about a day) #5 on Amazon.
