More about me

I am 74. I have been a widow for 3 1/2 years. My husband died after a 20 year illness. I cared for him at home. I am slowly working my way out in the world again. I have a lot of interests. I love books, I usually have 2 or 3 going at one time. I like mysteries but will read almost anything that is well written.

I love making quilt tops. I really like putting the fabric colors together and creating something beautiful. I really lose interest once the top is finished and ready to quilt. I love painting in oils and fabric paint. That can be very soothing. I would like to hear from other widows about their interests.
