More about me

Graduated from college when I was 30, as in and after high school, was too busy protesting, sitting in, etc;) Rather comical story about why I joined the Army in 1969 after Woodstock. Will tell friends only. Took my degree and CPA and found what was to be my career, advising entrepreneurs on financial matters, becoming a CFO and turnaround pro for struggling businesses. This allowed me to retire at 55.

Have 3 kids and relatives scattered across the country, so my significant other and I (after a lot of research) decided on the Western Carolina Mountains about 30 miles northwest of Asheville, NC.

Having had to use my left brain most of my life, I'm beginning a journey down the right side - painting, sketching and pottery, and as always, serious gardening including becoming a Master Gardener volunteer In Buncombe County, NC.
