In '39 i was born in a copper-mining town, Miami, Az. I spent my teens in Southern California during the awesome '50s. Beach Boys and Valley girls. I married in 1960 and we had 3 children, a boy, 2 girls. We adopted  a boy to make it 4 altogether. I accepted Jesus as my Lord and Savior in 1976. My wife passed away in 1998. My granddaughter and great granddaughter live with me, so life is never dull or boring. I watch my 3 and 1/2 year old great grandaughter while her mom attends college and am home schooling her. I love camping with family and friends, but I have switched to an air mattress as the ground seems to get harder as I get older.

My favorite activities in random order are: listening to music, reading, writing, art, camping, conversation, TV, mineral collecting, carport sales, playing with and teaching my great granddaughter and political activism.
