I  retired 2 years ago and am really enjoying doing exactly what I want to do with no "have to" stuff I made a midlife change in career when I went to Seminary in D.C. I am not a fundamentalist have progressive views on spirituality and after 20 years of pastoring other folk I am content to take care of myself. I love Gardening . I do Container Gardening because I find it is easier to weed and pick that way.

.The garden did OK this year.  I will not do "upsidedown" anything again.  Won't plant "Brandwine" tomatoes aagain  they take too long. Tomatillos were a surprise bumper crop. Flower beds did well.

I am learning how to spin.  What a thrill.  My needle felting is progressing well and I am teaching knitting at our Textile Guild on Thursdays.
