More about me

I'm a transplanted Chicagoan, now living in Central Florida.  I really love living here, but miss my friends and hope to make some new ones here..  I'm happily married with four grown children (two sets of twins!).  It's a little strange, but exciting to be reinventing my life at this stage.  Sounds a little silly, but I guess I'm still figuring out what my life passions are.  Whatever they turn out to be, I intend to spend the rest of my life following them.  I never expected my life to be like it is right now and I feel incredibly lucky.

I like almost all music except for the head banger stuff. On rainy days, nothing's better than classical; at night jazz is perfect; while house-cleaning, oldies keep me going; in the car, I love country!

Favorite Movies

This is a hard one... too many to choose from. Dial M for Murder, Little Women, Shining Through, the original Parent Trap (pretty eclectic taste, huh?)

Favorite Books

Anything by Gladys Taber, To Kill a Mockingbird, David Copperfield and Rebecca are among my favorites. I love to read and I'm open to almost anything except romance novels.

Long Lake, Valparaiso, Indiana. Not today's version, but the way it was in my childhood. I also love historical places and the beach.
