Places I've been

Traveled a great deal threw out the U.S. and loved every bet of it...It's the greatest ! ...I've been to Thailand, Ireland in 2007, going to Italy 2008 and traveled to Jamaica and a few other Island...We love to travel, I've been very lucky...I can really say I'm as happy sleeping on the ground as in a 4 star hotel but I must admit there something about a hot shower that make me lean more for the hotel most of the time...Once my son and I hiked part way up Mt. Hood in Org. and spent the night in a cabin, we had 60mhr wind outside and it was 17deg. inside after we put the fire out and climb in our bags, a warm bed would have been nice but then I would have much to write about...I hope to do more traveling in the next few years but you must take one day at a time...!

Hi.. I'm suppose to tell you about myself so here it goes!...I have a great wife, 3 great sons....3 great daughter-in-laws..2 grandsons, 3 grandaugher .. I retired back in April of 07, after 38 years of service with Sprint as a field tec.

I love the outdoors...skiing,bikeing,hiking (backpacking) camping,snowshoeing,kayaking (flat water and white) and spending time with my family...I have more free time now and my wife and I have be traveling this summer, we have been to the beach in N,J..Md. and Va. also traveled to Athen's Ga. and to Ashville N.C., and kayaking at Brison City N.C. and we're in Ireland last year and going to Italy this year.

I love life, I like trying new things and hanging on to some of the old...I like guitars,blues and rock...I think every room should have a guitar in it... I have 2 in my den and 2 under my bed..that's the best I can do...!   I did tell you I have a wife? After all it's her house too!   

I have great friends too..and a cat named Tinker...I'm a very lucky guy... 

 

Activities

Hiking, backpacking, biking, skiing, snowshoeing, kayaking(flat&whitewater} almost anything out side.
