Places I've been

Lived in Syracuse all my life. Been to Hawaii twice, Florida (lost count), other beaches up and down the east coast. Been to Aspen twice and lots or other ski resorts. Thought I went to heaven in Laguna Beach and really liked Carmel.

More about me

I never picked up a pencil or paint brush until I was 40. While I was watching  a painting show on PBS one day I picked up my kids watercolor set and a piece of paper and painted along with the instructor and I was hooked. I am all about desire--but determined to develop talent. I have only tried watercolor. So about 3/4 of the way along this journey I decieded that I had better learn to draw. So here I am, a student of drawing and painting and couldn't happier.

Activities

Watercolor painting, figure drawing, ZUMBA, pilates, walking and watching SU basketball. Most of all I Would Rather BE Painting!

Favorite Charities

Susan G. Komen, any soldier care package and especially my son who is currently on active duty in Afghanistan.

Disco, latin, salsa-to dance to. Frank Sinatra and Dean Martin. Love Chris Daughtry. 70's & 80's rock. Freebird is my all time favorite song.

CSI Miami (very pretty colors), The Young & The Restless, HGTV, any painting/how to shows.

Favorite Movies

Under The Tuscan Sun-visually engaging and a happy ending.

Angela's Ashes on CD or tape because you have to hear the story right from the author himself.
