Places I've been

For a short time I lived in Monroe, NC. Wonderful people, great food, beautiful town. I love Vegas although a tad bit too hot during the summer. Atlantic City, NJ has been my home since moving here in '92. I must finally admit I have "sand in my shoes." Cleveland, Detroit, NY, FL are also cities or states I've either lived in or visited over the years.

What is there to say other than I try to live life to the fullest. More than anything I enjoy meeting people, writing poetry, listening to jazz, art galleries, museums, and above all else dancing. My greatest joy in life, my five very handsome grandsons. Had I known it was going to be so much fun having grandchildren I would have had them first.

Life lessons learned: 
1) Love comes in all colors 2) There is no greater sound than the sound of children laughing 3) To have a friend one must be a friend 4) Never allow anyone or anything to take away your happy-happy, joy-joy 5) Look inward before passing judgement 6) Broken hearts heal 7) Nothing is ever what it first appears to be 8) Music truly soothes the savage beast 9) Second chances are a must 10) Always respect self & others 11) Never stop dreaming 12) Be true to yourself

Favorite People

Absolutely and without a doubt my sisters. So very different the two of them however I couldn't have been more blessed to have them as sisters. The youngest keeps me laughing and the 2nd youngest keeps me thinking. What a pair!

Favorite Places

Las Vegas, there's just so much to do there. Monroe, NC for it's beauty and most hospitable people, what isn't there to love about this wonderful town.

Favorite Animals

Dogs! I have the cutest Mini Schnauzer, Sir Scottie, who thinks everyone who visits loves him as much as I do.
