I took some sign language classes through Shepherd College at WV Schools for the Deaf and Blind when I worked there.
Occupation(s)
I was a classroom aide (sub) working mainly in Special Ed classes, also at the Schools for the Deaf and the Blind. I have been a cook in restaurants, schools, camps, etc. I was a bartender, worked maintenence at a camp, worked with my friend who did restoration on old houses/buildings, worked at a local newspaper doing graphics, layout, interviews and writing articles.For about 2 yrs I took care of my husband who had cancer as well as my mom who also had cancer at the same time. I am 'retired'.

I am widowed, have 3 wonderful grandkids, cats, dogs and love them all! I am an avid reader, love music of most genres, but especially bluegrass and classic rock. I enjoy going to bluegrass festivals, NASCAR, fishing, camping or just mellowing out. I like to have a drink from time to time, sit on my deck especially at night when the sky is so vivid and beautiful. I enjoy my peaceful life and the solitude that comes from living in the country. I'm pretty laid back and if I get angry about something I like to get it worked out right away, look at both points of view and move on. I like to live in a stress free zone!
