More about me

Love to read and write (though still working full time) and have little time to truly enjoy either except when on good vacation or airplane traveling -- I read. Have written 2 novels and do intend to pick up writing again once semi-retired.

Die hard Red Sox fan since '67 and New England Patriots fan since they began in AFL (first owner was from my home town, Lowell, MA).

Favorite contemprary fictional authors: John Irving, Michael Chrichton, John Grisham, David Balducci, Harlan Cohen.

Others that make me think: Dale Carnegie, Ken Blanchard, Steven Covey, Spencer Johnson, Robert Kyosoki, Malcom Gladwell.

Love all kinds of music from Sinatra to the Stones (but partial to the 70's). My wife went to woodstock, but I was on Active duty then and missed it. We even launched our own record store in the mid-seventies, (while I was working as designer and going to school nights to be S/W engineer).

Most inspirational artists: Bob Dylan, John Lennon, George Harrison, David Crosby, Cat Stevens, Roy Orbinson, Ray Charles, Marvin Gaye, Stevie Wonder, Bono. Love Motown, rock, Jazz, blues. And any good balad that is heart felt. I'm a sucker for having a few drinks and enjoying people doing Karaoke pouring their hearts out in their favorite songs. Seen it worldwide and everyone loves it. Music simply takes your mind off all the problems in the world and makes everyone smile for a while.
