I was born in Duluth, Minnesota, but was raised in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. I raised my family in Joliet, Illinois, and lived the last 10 years or so in LaPorte, Indiana. Now I reside in Stafford, Virginia.

High School Name (City, State) Pulaski High...Milwaukee, Wis. College Name I attended the University of Wisconsin, Milw. campus, but never got a degree. Occupation(s) I've been everything from a bartender and truckstop waitress to a purchasing agent for a oem manufacturing company. I've seen 38 out of 50 of our States, but the best by far (so far) are Washington State, and North Carolina. Have a strong desire to go up the East Coast before my time is thru. I've always wanted to have a lobster dinner on the coast of Maine. Also planning on cruising Alaska.

I'm divorced, 63 yrs old, sharing a home with my son in Virginia. I have four kids, five grandkids, and 4 great grandkids. I am interested in music, art, history, archeology, crafts, and the outdoors.....particularly beaches and mountains.  I am an avid reader; everything from murder mysteries to psychology books to biographies to Tom Clancy spy novels. 

I am a baseball fan, especially the Cubs, and I love football (Bears, Packers, Colts, Redskins).  I'm a crossword puzzle fan, as well as Sudoku.  I enjoy crafts....painting, needlework, making something out of nothing.  Cooking is one of my favorite things to do.  My specialities are Italian and good, old-fashioned Mid-western comfort food. 

I have spent a good portion of my life living for my family.  It's now time to live for me.  I'm embarking on a whole new journey, learning as I go, to make my remaining years as full and rich as possible.  I'm opening myself up to new ideas, new people, new experiences.  I don't wish to ever stop growing and improving.
