i've been in every state in the lower forty-eight except s.dak, either by bus, train, or thumb. i spent 13 months in s. korea in the sixties, i've hitch-hiked across canada from quebec to alberta and back again, and i've lived (for at least a month) in at least 13 of the states i've been to or through and finally found a home in washington state. all others were merely way-stations to this point.

any by w.s. churchill, or about him. any by j.r.r. tolkien, right now i'm into robert jordan, terry gookind. george r.r. martin, stephen lawhead, jack whyte, david & leah eddings. mostly fantasy but i enjoy a good political thriller, or a courtroom drama, now and then for a change. i also enjoy the Bible, though maybe not for the reasons you might think.
