Well - guess it's about time to write something in this spot. I have a hard time describing me as the description can change from day to day.  But basically I am a very content person.  I have three children, two of whom are married to wonderful spouses.  My youngest is attending a local university and eventually wants to join the Marine Corps. I also recently became a grandmother and I LOVE the sound of that. He is a very precious little boy and just talking about him warms my heart. I have said that phrase in the past, but truly, the feeling is there when my grandson is around! I love them all dearly and am enjoying watching the growth that is taking place in their lives. I love to travel, hate to fly, but if that's how to get there, I'll do it.  I love the ocean, all of it, the smells, sounds, tastes, and the feel of it; the mountains are a very close second. I like a good play in baseball, good musical arrangements, a great joke, a warm hug, a book I can't put down, a wink from across the room, and the perfect dress in the clearance rack. I like to be able to sleep in once in a while without feeling guilty, and go to bed with all (most) of my to-do list crossed off.  I like knowing I made someone smile - that is a great feeling.  I try to get my day-to-day stuff done, bills paid, animals fed, etc., and try not to forget to, in some way, better myself.  I absolutely do not want to become a boring person.
