The town I consider my hometown is Wenatchee, Washington. My parents moved us there when I was 17. The little town we lived in before that was a place of mean, hurtful people and I don't consider it my hometown. Wenatchee was a wonderful place. Remember "

Wenatchee High School, Wenatchee, Washington. The old brick school I went to has been replaced by a modern building that looks like a prison!
College Name
Wenatchee Valley College. I earned my AA degree there. I was an art major.
College Graduation Year
1964. My mother took the LPN course there and she and I graduated together.

My major was in art but I never pursued a career in it.
Occupation(s)
When I left home I went to work for the Civil Service as a telephone operator at an Army installation. I quit after 7 years when I got married, then went back in 1989 and worked until I took a medical retirement in 2001.

More about me

I am divorced and live with my eldest daughter, my youngest daughter, her husband and my baby granddaughter. My eldest daughter and I are both physically disabled and I use a power chair. My youngest and her hubby are also on disability. We are a happy household. I am retired from the Civil Service. I worked as a telephone operator at a nearby Army post. I was born and raised here in Washington State and have lived all over it.

American Grafitti, Friendly Persuasion, Sgt. Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club Band, The Mighty, the new King Kong, The Lord of the Rings Trilogy, the Star Wars series, Some Like It Hot, The Great Race, most Tom Hanks and Harrison Ford movies, The Lion, The Witch and the Wardrobe, It Happened One Night, Gone With the Wind, the 1996 version of the Titanic, really too many to count. I LOVE movies!

Favorite TV Shows

Make Room For Daddy, I Love Lucy, Bill Cosby, Mike Douglas, The Little Zoo That Could, the History, National Geographic, food, Home and Garden, and other channels like that. I've been watching Nova since it was First Tuesday.
