More about me

 I graduated from Penn State in 1965 and started teaching special education at the idealistic age of 20. I lifted teenagers for years and tore up my knees and back, but I'd do it again for the joy the kids gave me. I had to retire in 1998 for health reasons. I'm helping raise my four year old autistic grandson who takes a lot of my time and 100% of my energy.My roomate,Renee, and I love the little guy and care for him when he doesn't have special education pre school. William has a little sister who may have inhetited my art ability.  We'll see in a few years.I also do crocheting anything that is a challenge.  I love classical music which I turn on when I paint,draw or crochet.We have two dogs,one cat and two parakeets.  I act as the curator of our zoo.

Activities

I just started painting again after many years. I've been concentrating on flowers as they are available thyis time of year. I love video games. I just finished Puzzle Quest. Lord Bane was really hard to defeat. When I'm waiting for my room mate I crochet and do Sudoku. We have two dogs, one cat, and two parakeets. Sometimes I feel like the curator at a zoo. I spend every weekend with my grandson. I beong to the MainLine Art Center and the local YMCA I taught Adult Literacy for a year.

I have always loved the ocean. I often visited the Outer Banks in my youth. I hear it is built up now and I wouldn't like it. I enjoy where ever I am as there is beauty in everything.
