I moved to Acworth from California in 2005, & just had a chance to see Rome. It's now my favorite little town around! Love all the restored old buildings! Would like to learn more of it's history.
Stopped by Barnsley Gardens the same day, but it was raining & couldn't take the tour or see the gardens. Big disappointment! But bought a book on it's history in the gift shop & found it absolutely fascinating! What history this area has! Know any good stories or other places to see in the area? I love antiquing & am always looking for good little shops & towns that may uncover some little treasures.
