I was a publicist in the music industry for over two decades, variously as an executive at record companies and independent PR firms and later as owner of my own PR shop. I spent much time on the road touring with rock bands.

I am a Global Gypsy. For the past four years I've traveled the world attached only to a backpack and sense of adventure. Trading in the career and Hollywood Hills house, I've journeyed from SE Asia to the Middle East, from India to Borneo, Fiji to Tibet, have studied with the Dalai Lama, lived with the Bedouins in Jordan, provided tsunami aid work and traveled on motorbike over the high Himalayas. I am now a freelance journalist with a book in the works. I also make and sell jewelry on the road.
