I've been... well, I haven't been to Florida Washington DC, Maine or Massachusetts, Alaska or Hawaii. The rest of the country, I've at least passed through at some point. Not been out of the US, at least not that I can mention.

More about me

My first real love is gone, she died in April of 2011. Now I've got a new love, and all that goes with that. No, it's not the same, it never will be, nor do I expect it to be. It's different, as it should be, but still great. Who'd a thunk somebody could love a crusty old curmudgeon like me. If there's somebody for me, there really must be somebody for everyone.  

Activities

These days I'm still editing books, mine or other peoples. Most are very happy with what I can do with their books. I've started repairing guitars, fiddles, and the like. I'm no expert yet, but I can already do a lot. It's not all that difficult, if you have a working knowledge of electronics, woodworking, and a bit of common sense, like knowing where to find out how to do something before you start.

Favorite Charities

About the only charity I give to is the Salvation Army. Not because I see things their way, but they put their time, money and asses on the line to help others.

Favorite Music

I like many kinds of music. It's easier to say what I don't like: Rap, hip-hop, foreign opera, or that kind of jazz where it sounds like they all are playing different songs.

Favorite TV Shows

not much to choose from these days, I like CSI, NCIS, and some of the talent shows. Mostly I watch discovery, history or learning channels.

To hell and back, the blues brothers, McCLintock, Duck soup, some others, mostly comedies or shootemups

Favorite Books

MINE!lol no really, anything by Lawrence Block, Janet Evanovich, Aimee and David Thurlo, Nora roberts as JDROBB only, and many others, too many to name here.

My net friends, since I don't get out much anymore, they are my closest friends.

Favorite Places

Depends, Colorado used to be home, now I can't afford to live there. I sure would like to find out if Hawaii would be a favorite, given the funds to do so.

Favorite Animals

Dogs, any variety, Horses, some others, not much of a cat person, though one did steal my heart once. Now another has snuck into my life, and stolen my heart once again.
