I have had varied career leanings including the insurance industry and the beauty world. Currently I am the ex-office administrator for a cosmetology school in FL and looking for very PT work.  I just rec'd my very first SS check and don't want to share it w/Uncle Sam by working too hard!

I have 3 children and 5 grands...whom I seldom see.  Seems the kids lives supercede yours as they age, which I suppose is a good thing....means I did my job right if they aren't still living with me...Lol

I moved to FL from Boston suburbs in 1994 and have never been sorry.  There are many things I don't like about FL, but I sure love the weather and the continual sunshine. I don't miss the northern winters, but I miss my lifelong friends and family up north.  Although I have many friends here, only a select few are the "dropped by to see you" type of friends. 

In my younger years, I was a professional Astrologer and (go figure) a professional bowler as well.  Then I changed occupations.  In 1987 I enrolled in school, then opened my town's very first Nail Salon; 7 years later I sold it and moved to FL.

In 2006 I lost my husband and my mother within 6 weeks of each other.  I'm pretty sure I finally came out on the good side of that speedbump.  Now, for the first time ever, I am alone....life has given me yet another challenge.           I can do this!
