Born the bastard child of a New Orleans stripper and adopted by my adopted grandparents. That makes my mother my sister and since I am her child makes me my own uncle. Grew up in Mississippi until time to start school when we settled in Alabama. Got to travel a bit thanks to the US Marines, South Carolina, North Carolina, back to South Carolina, Iwaukina Japan, and Virginia. Came back to south Alabama when I got discharged and except for a brief stint in Westwego, LA have been here ever since.

Almost 63 years old and still working, well kinda. Been self employed since April of '72. Probably will never really completely quit but trying to cut back some. Business run by me and 3 of my kids. Had major surgery last Nov and have cut back quite a bit.
Love the water. Live on a deep water creek that runs into a river that runs into a bay that empties into another bay that empties into the Gulf of Mexico, so I could leave my pier and travel by boat around the world. Maybe next week :^)

Like to shoot pool. Tell folks I shoot pool like I make love, I'm not very good but do have a lot of fun trying. Also like old wood boats. Have a 1936 Biloxi Lugger, 39.5 feet, built of Cypress. Have decided that I might just sell her though. An old boat like that takes a huge amount of upkeep. Since my back surgery she is just too much for me to handle. Hope I can find someone that will appreciate her like I do and take good care of her.

Reckon that would have to be my oldest cat, Snook. A neutered 18 pound male, Snook is about 10 or 11, can't remember which. He will try to carry on a conversation with me. I talk to him and he injects a loud "meooowww" , just often enough to hold his end of the discussion. He's getting a tad grumpy in his old age. Hope it's a long way off but I will sure be sad to see him cross the bridge.
