More about me

I am a native Michigander.  I grew up in the Detroit area and lived there until I got married.  I now live in mid-Michigan near Owosso. I worked at the local hospital for 9 years where I retired from, but still work there occasionally.  I have 3 kids.  My oldest son just lost his job and will probably be moving back home in a month.  My second son is unemployed and still living at home.  My daughter lives up in Houghton, MI and is attending Mich. Tech. University as a pre-med student.  God willing, she'll be able to find the financing to finish.  My husband worked at GM for 33 years and is now retired.  I have had MS for 13 years but continue to keep that under control.  I am a Catholic and very involved in our RCIA program at our Church.

CSI - all of them; Grey's Anatomy; Animal Planet; American Idol; 20-20; Boston Legal (I wish that this wasn't the last season).

Activities

I still work about 6-8 days per month at the hospital. Other than that, my husband and I have taken up biking. We try to ride about 10-15 miles per day weather permitting. I also spend much time on weather related web sites and do weather blogs for several including weatherbug. I'm involved in RCIA in my parish and have just started a new Catholic group here on Eons, "Today's Catholic". If you are interested in joining, let me know. Everyone is welcome.

I like classic rock from the 60's and 70's.

I read mostly gardening or birding books or books on physical fitness and the weather. I'm not much into novels or fiction. I'd rather watch a good movie.
