Hello, I was born in South Boston, VA 55 yrs ago. Moved to Washington, DC at the age of nine, moved to Maryland in my early 30's. I live in Jefferson, MD a small town in the surburbs of Washington, DC.

Along the way of life I have been married twice and twice divorced and have a daughter and a son and 9 grands and 2 step-great grands.

Have been employed at the George Washington University in numerous postitions for almost 29 yrs.

Kind of a laid back person, who enjoyes the simple things of life. Mostly enjoy time with my family and my new found love.

My heros are my daughter and my son, who are the most wonderful people and parents, and for the things they have accomplised in life. They make a mother proud.

What is your favorite family dinner?

My favorite family dinner is usually X-mas dinner. We go all out and prepare the traditonal soul food dinner such as, Ham and roast, macaroni & cheese, pototo salad and deviled eggs, fresh collard greens, rolls pies and cakes and my grandchildren's favorite, sparkling apple cider in wine glasses.

What kind of trip would you love to take in Italy?

I think the most interesting people I have every met are 2yr. olds. They are the most fasinating people on this planet, they are so confident, not afraid to try new things and swear they know more then you do. And I just enjoy watching them delight in every new discovery.
