- More about me
-
My name is Martha Di Giovanni but all my friends calls me DOC. I was born in 1955 in the East Harlem section of NYC and have been drawing since I learned to use a crayon. I love creating wonderful characters and people. The only problem, I never got my chance to really show my works. You can see my works at view link Did other things in life and never did what I truly cherish, my art. I am a grandmother, remarried to a wonderful supportive husband, Mike. He is truly my inspiration.

Time is too slow for those who wait, too swift for those who fear, too long for those who grieve, too short for those who rejoice, but for those who love, time is eternity. ~Henry Van Dyke..Happy Valentines Day.

I read your bio and it's great! But most of all, I identify with you being Italian. I am not Italian, however, I am married to an Italian, Guglielmo. He is from Northern Italy, provence of Bologna (northern). I live on the West Coast, California to be exact, but one reason I'm posting a comment is identifying with you on the Italian part. All of our children are named Italian names, but our oldest (27 years old) is Giovani, spelled with one n, my part, but named after my husbands father. So, there you have it, in a nutshell, my condensed version of why I had to submit a comment.:)
Anyway, if you want to write back, or hear from me further, I'm Bakingmamma (yeah, I bake, my husband cooks:)
Ciao!
Becky
