Places I've been

Actually, not many. I've pretty much been a homebody as travel for me, doesn't do that much for me. Perhaps as I get older, I'll change that attitude, but for now, I'm content to watch my kid's lives develop. I do, or at least used to, travel within Wisconsin and perhaps Northern Illinois to play golf at the various courses. I'd love to do it again, so I'm waiting for my son to be able to accompany me when he's finished with school!

More about me

Not much to tell. I've been pretty much a homebody for the past 8-9 years as I watched my kids grow into great individuals! I work at the local jail and although one would think that the contact with the inmates would be stressful, it really isn't. The stress comes from, like anyone else, upper management! I've been married 31years to Pam. I'm currently attempting to get my golf game back on track after going out and playing a round with my son, and it seemed promising! We'll see about that, anyway, would love to make a few new friends here and am always open to shoot the breeze!! News flash...

 

Woo-Hoo! I was just, finally, promoted to Lieutenant at work.....only took eight years and four tests and interviews!! So, for now, I'm happy!!

Activities

Watching my kids become adults and the great things they do. Update: both kids are now attending school, and living here to assist with tuition costs. Daughter has abandoned her dreams in broadcasting and now is focusing on physical therapy and is awaiting acceptance in the P.T. program at U.W. Milwaukee. Son is working at a local food store deli department, also will be back life guarding this summer for Milwaukee County and is still a bit unsure what direction he now wants to go. Suggested that he wants to move out, but financially that would be a bust....stay tuned...the band? For the moment, done...enjoy the videos and those on you tube, they may be the last from them... He still is interested in golf and we plan on playing quite a bit this summer.

Anything by Stephen King, Dean Koontz, John Saul, Bentley Little. Just finished a great book: The Last Catholic in America, and another would be Puff by Bob Flaherty Wow, I forgot the Harry Potter series, loved it!
