Hi all! My real name is Donna. I am a 67 year old mother, grandmother, widow and retired nurse. I worked in the nursing field for over 30 years and retired in 2001 due to a severe back injury. I now live alone except for my little Cairn Terrior Chewy. I have four grown children, but lost my oldest son in 2006. I have only one daughter who lives nearby. I have nine grandchildren, 3 great grandchildren and 3 step grandchildren. My other two children  are boys. One is 41 and the other is 45. I,m an avid reader, computer game player and I love to travel, sightsee, crochet in the winter, grow roses and other outside plants in the spring and summer and I,m a great cook. My late hubby and love of my life Jack passed away in 1993 from Leukemia.

Activities

Reading is my biggest joy. Mostly whodunits and mysteries. I also love to crochet in the winter and I, m now trying to learn knitting. I love roses and have several, which I baby all spring and summer. I love to travel, but finances doesn, t permit it much anymore. I, m also a computer game fanatic and belong to a paid game site.

Just about any mystery novel. I especially like James Patterson, Tess Gerritson, Robin Cook and Mary Higgins Clark.
