I'm a not-quite-traditional Renaissance woman -- enjoy a challenge, not afraid of change, and love to laugh!  I try to live an uncomplicated life.

Who I am ~ Confident about my inner strength, intelligence and abilities.  Honest to a fault: the one thing that will close my heart is deception.  Endlessly curious about the world, learning new things is a joy.  Spiritual seeker, not formally religious.  Would rather have you teach me how to do something than do it for me.  Flexible, open-minded – familiarity is comforting, but change happens.  A self-educated professional.Value small things about everyday life, can’t take anything for granted.  Not afraid of hard work or getting my hands dirty.  Not acquisitive:  less “stuff” is more freedom. Enjoy being spontaneous & leaving comfort zones occasionally, don't like ruts.  Would rather get something done now than let it turn into crisis management later.  Good listener, and can hold a conversation with just about anybody.  Need "down time" occasionally.

What I love  ~My family & friends…the beach…life-long reader of a wide variety subjects…photography…traveling & exploring new places…gardening…playing with my dogs & cats…casual hiking, biking, canoeing & motorcycles…history…cooking for people who love to eat…dancing…cultural events…a good bottle of wine…music: classical symphony to rock concerts…camping & fishing…small dinner party with a few close friends. Not much into spectator sports or excessive tv-watching.

All in all, I’m reasonably happy with myself.  There are so many things I want to see and do!
