More about me

I've lived in the Albany NY area since 1970.  Grew up in The City during the 50s and 60s where I was in a Folk Group singing protest songs at marches, rallies and be-ins (remember those?)

I'm first generation American - my father and his family came here from Hungary in the 1920s.  They were involved in Union activity and my great grandfather was found floating in the Danube one day.  Since there were threats against the rest of the family, they thought it best to relocate to the "new world".

My long time boyfriend and I were married this year - on 1/31/09.  He was the sole caregiver for his elderly mother until she passed at the age of 94.  That's why the delay.

I'm currently Unemployed with lots of spare time to keep up with eons.com!
