Places I've been
I took my first cruise in 2003 aboard the Celebrity Summit and then later a 2nd cruise aboard the Celebrity Century, both times we had a cabin with a view, meaning we had a window to look out. ================ When I met my current girl friend I talked her into going on a cruise, she had never been on one before. I booked our cruise on Celebrity Constellation and because I was a past guest, they upgraded us to a balcony suite that came with a butler. Well talk about being spoiled, especially on her first cruise, we had a fresh basket of fruit every morning and a plate of cookies and milk at night. ==================== And having a balcony was great, definitely spoiled, have booked a balcony cabin ever since. ================== We have cruised with Royal Caribbean, Carnival, Princess, NCL and Holland American. I would pick Celebrity and Royal Caribbean as our favorite with Royal Caribbean being more affordable. =================== We have also done some all-inclusive resorts which we liked and we both own time shares. I own two just outside Disney World, which I have been trading for other resorts, and my girlfriend owns a time share in Mexico which we go to every year. ===================== So it seems like we are always on the move spending our children's inheritance. :)=================
More about me

I am a widower who lives in New Jersey and dating a women who lives in Pennsylvania, about a 2 hour drive. I think how we met is kind of neat, we met on the Internet, seniorsmatch.com , I was looking for a girlfriend and she was looking for someone to travel with. We met, got along well together and our first trip was a bus trip to Niagara Falls, it was the beginning of something special.

We have since gone on many cruises and we both own timeshares.

I grew up on Staten Island, NY, and worked as a union electrician in construction. I have been retired now for seven years.

Thank you and God Bless you for the Rainbow Bridge! I read what you sent to me and I must say, even though it has been 4 1/2 years now since Lucy went to Heaven, it still stings my heart when I think about her. Those words in what you wrote, ah all I can say is I cried for some time. I miss her so much and yes, I've had other critters, and loved them all, but none touched my heart in the degree that Lucy did. She was from my son that is in the Army. He and his wife saved her from the breeders as she was the last one that hadn't sold yet. She was barely six weeks old and they told my son they were going to put her in a gunny sack and toss her into the river, so he brought her home even though he already had a house full of critters himself. I went in to be there as the doctors were going to do surgery on my son and it was love at first sight for Lucy and I. She had not acted in the manner she did with me with anyone else that had come to the house. There were numerous visitors and Lucy stayed away from all of them, but when she saw me, she actually jumped into my arms! She was the type of boxer that talked and quarrelled with you. She heard all of my Prayers when my son was deployed over seas and she saw me at my lowest times and yet she still loved me when I felt no one else did. She was the one that brought me through a lot of valleys. When I lost her, I lost my heart. I have two more boxers now, but, Lucy, I'm afraid is still very much in my heart. I Pray for the day when I will see her again as I believe that God gives us special critters and when it is true, you will be with them again. They are the treasures God speaks about putting in our mansions. So thank you..thank you!
