An OKIE all my life; I was born in Atoka in 1950 but grew up until the age of 13 at Riverside Indian School outside of Anadarko and then moved to Lawton through high school and college. I moved to Oklahoma City in 1975 when I went to work for the US Treasury and then moved to Tulsa, Ok in 1979 and I have lived in that area ever since.

More about me

Married to the same lovely woman since 1971; father of four wonderful kids with the oldest born in 1975 and the youngest in 1986. All four of them were soccer players from the age of 5 and two of them still play. It seems I have been a soccer dad, soccer coach, referee, or club administrator for all my life. I have been going to watch one or the other of my kids play soccer since 1981 (there were times when all four of them were playing literally at the same time). Since my youngest is now playing college soccer at the University of Central Arkansas; I am still going to watch one of them play soccer (its just a three hour trip each way these days). So far I have one grand-daughter who is currently about 20 months old; since both of her parents still play soccer I imagine she will too. Unfortunately for me they live in Rochester, MN and that is a ten hour drive for me. Outside of my kids and soccer I have had no real hobbies; although I am going to have to find one because my youngest only has a couple more years left to play college ball and its not too likely he will play professionally.

I had a fishing buddy but he moved to Missouri few years back; don't play golf more than once every few years; I go to the Indian Casino's when the wife is out of town (about two or three times a year, never win anything tho); don't plan on retiring anytime soon so (kids in college and a daughter gettin married in December).
