Best high school memory -- winning NNJIL Tennis Championships for HHS in '56. Played Soccer and a trombone in the Band too...

Starting at 13 Amateur radio influenced me -- built my own radios, experimented with antennas; learned a lot about science they don't teach in school. Ham radio led me to the Navy in 1959, the U.S. Naval Academy in 1961, and a career in physics until 2001.

Since retiring I'm into volunteer work, studying UCSB Geology and MSAS Astronomy Pacific Channel Islands Gunkholing, motorcycling courtesy of Harley Davidson, and taking a lot of ~~snapshots~~ pictures.
