History
My hometown
Other places I've been
My hometown is French Lick. At age 11, my family moved to another small town located in the middle of a lot of cornfields and hog operations. After I graduated from high school, I lived with my new husband near Fort Hood, Texas. After his tour of duty we returned to the cornfields until we moved to Florida in 1986. I remained in Florida with my two sons after I lost my husband in 1991. In 2003, I moved to Short Gap, WV and worked in Cumberland, MD until I returned to Florida in 2005 for my family. This was a true sacrifice as I love the mountains. I have traveled in nearly 30 of the 50 states and have been just over the border in Canada. Most of my trips have been in mountain states including the Green Mts in Vermont and the White Mts in New Hampshire. The Appalachians are my favorite. It is very pretty in London, KY and Ellijjay, GA where my youngest son and my brother live. Currently, I reside in central Florida with family.
