Lived in Newark, Ohio my whole life. When our two girls were young we visited Texas and Arizona due to family living there. We also camped a lot thru Tennessee, Florida, Niagara Falls, Washington DC, Pennsylvania and Ohio. Our vacations now consist of Florida and the Carolinas, overlooking the ocean. Our last trip was to Sanibel Island, August of 2007. This was the first time staying on the Gulf side of Florida. If you like a place that has that calm laid back atmosphere, you need to visit Sanibel Island.
