Ooooh, that is so sweet of you. Thanks for your compliments about my comments on our supporters group. Yes, Savannah is one of our country's best kept secrets. If you return, please allow me to host you at one of Savannah's most distinctive and delicious home style eateries - they'll make your toes wiggle.
I pray that life improves soon for all of you in Michigan. The people of your great state have suffered for far too long, and without a sense of caring by our current leaders.
I used to go there on business and always took extra time and traveled on my own. I remember the Golden Pavilion from an excursion to Nara and Kyoto. It's been too long.
Just read that you had been 10 days in Japan, I know that had to be exciting. My brother works for Toshiba, so he goes often to Japan, i have seen so many pictures from there and heard so much. If I ever win the lottery I would love to see the country.
I read your comment about Twilight. I haven't read that one, but when my daughter was about that age I read her The Girl on the Milk Carton (or something like that) and I was absolutely shocked at the irresponsible attitude about sex that the author gave the characters and just left there - no lessons learned, no advice from anyone. I don't consider myself a prude either, but I couldn't believe a book intended for girls that age. It wasn't important to the plot either, so I just skipped over it for the most part. But it was sure an eye-opener to pay attention to what my daughter was reading.
Thanks for the birthday wishes! I'm enjoying your cat photos again - especially today, because I am going to bring home two kittens in a couple of weeks when they're ready to leave mama.
Oooh! You're going to learn Japanese. That's wonderful. Learning languages is a kind of a hobby of mine. I never got my fill of it when I was a kid in school, so I've been learning them now. My German is better than my Hungarian. Do update us on your progress!

I love visiting other places, but my heart stays in Michigan.
