    my question is why ? because they could is the only answer ! had a couple of guys show up at teh track one nigth years ago with Boss Hogs those Chevy V8 powered bikes and I wanted so bad to run against one just for the heck of it, I asked one of the guys ahead of me to trade places, so here we go I'm off the line and left him there but uh oh here he comes and just when I really needed to run my best I missed a shift and there he goes trucking on by, the only thing I could campare it to is a locomotive, that once under way just kept going and building speed.
    I se on your site that you ahve a BBQ trailer, is that what you do full time ? take care dick

    if you won the lotto that you could my friend that you could, omigosh the Isle of Man I've only seen it on speed TV and those people are crazy, seemed like half the time they were airborn fer cripes sakes, had the article on the XR1200 in my Cycle World magazine and had to pick on ya, sorry ! take care and enjoy the ride ! dick

    Thank You. I purchased it new in 1980 (left over) and have ridded it almost 275,000 miles so far.
