I'm originally from the metro Boston area, but have lived in Oregon for about 4 years. I remember travelling through Scituate, R.I. a few times (there's also a Scituate, MA).
A friend had a sailboat at the Point Judith Yacht Club and we sailed out to Block Island...perfect day and one of the most fun days of my life.
