The strange void of any seriousness about impeachment has been appalling to me as well... I mean, there are so many specifics that are impeachable they seem to drown out the fact it is sorely needed... my biggest disappointment was Barack Obama's senate vote to not allow the telecoms to be sued for wiretapping our private conversations - would have been an obvious automatic impeachable offense... among the many damages to the constitution Bush/Cheney/ Rumsfeld/Gonzales have perpetuated, that was plain to everyone to be a disastrous breach of our basic freedoms -our civil rights... Amendment IV of the Bill of Rights! ...it is sad there have been so many diabolical violations of our civil liberties, and yet business as usual proceeds by the "decider" in spite of the fact, his decisions are not ones most Americans desire... Now we have a chance of hope and change, but already, I sense some downplaying of important issues... let us pray the changes are effective and resolute to us and our constitution.
