I would love to hear about where you stay in Fl. this time. I am thinking of either S. Texas or W. Fl. next winter if we have another bad ice storm here again this winter. I have a 24" Four Winds motorhome and travel alone also with no tow vehicle. I would hope for a park that has some activities for residents to mingle. I do have a small dog and a cat that travel with me. Thanks, Joan

Thank you for the gift and good wishes. I am thankful every day that I decided to just 'go for it' - I had to leave a second career as a kitchen designer - good pay and benefits too - to take this time to spend with my adventurous husband. I think of it like this:

I see many solo RV'ing gals and guys in our travels - they are living the life and having a ball - it is a big step - but if it is still your personal dream - it can be achieved by taking that chance.
First, thank you for the NC State Park info = those with hook-up capability. I'm only familiar with those along the Blue Ridge. So, it'll be fun exploring the coast...but not until after hurricane season! Second, thanks for the solo encouragement. There are a lot of us out there! Are you a full-timer? So far, I love it. All the best...
